KINGSTON, Jamaica – Big Jule romped the nine furlongs and 25 yards - United Racehorse Trainers’ Association of Jamaica Trophy feature, by the huge margin of 10 ½ lengths.

This trophy event, the Caymanas Saturday ninth, was for three-year-old and upwards horses (non-winners of four races).

When the starter pressed the go button, surprisingly it was Nakamura (Javaniel Patterson) who set off in front.

Nakamura, a winner of one race, carried the field to the backstretch followed by Iannai Links (Phillip Parchment), Big Jule (Omar Walker), and Unruly Boss (Dick Cardenas).

After passing the five furlong pole Iannai Links surged to the lead, but that effort was quickly snubbed out by Big Jule, who grabbed the initiative once and for all.

In the stretch run Big Jule, trained by Ian Parsard cut a lonesome figure as he powered away to earn his third career win.

The time recorded by Big Jule was an eye catching 1:55.1.

Bern Notice (Tevin Foster) finished second with third going to Santorini (Linton Steadman).
