KINGSTON, Jamaica – The first set of ‘babies’ (two-year-olds) begin their racing careers on Emancipation Day, Tuesday, August 1, 2023.
Five two-year-olds are entered in the three-furlong Betting Gaming and Lotteries Commission | Thoroughbred Owners and Breeders’ Association Juvenile Dash.
The five entered based on the Overnight program for August 1, are listed below. Please note the Overnight program is subject to change. The Final Program will be made available tomorrow afternoon (Friday, July 28, 2023).
1 – BANADURA is a bay filly (March 21) by Casual Trick out of Esperanza, trained by Jason DaCosta with Abigail Able aboard.
2 – LUCY IN THE SKY is a bay filly (March 21) by Liquidity out of Tap A Bay Yankee, trained by Jason DaCosta with Reyan Lewis aboard.
3 – HIMAYA is a roan filly (March 23) by Casual Trick out of Raksha, trained by Jason DaCosta with Phillip Parchment in the saddle.
4 – BLU SENSATION is a bay filly (February 12) by Sensational Slam out of Blues In The Grass, trained by Ian Parsard with Omar Walker aboard.
5 – SHEER DE JOUR is bay filly (March 31) by Force De Jour out of Sheer Madness, trained by Alford Brown with Shamaree Muir in the saddle.
