KINGSTON, Kingston – The rich and imperious form of jockey Tevin Foster continued in the Caymanas Saturday (May 21), when he piloted the Wilfred Chen trained JamalJames to his eighth victory from 33 career starts.
It was champion jockey Anthony Thomas who put 5-2 chance Sir Arjun Babu in the lead when the gates opened. Sir Arjun Babu led comfortably throughout with Foster biding his time on JamalJames.
Sir Arjun Babu entered the straight with the advantage but Foster brought JamalJames with a clear run on the inside rails, and after a brief skirmish with the latter former went away to score by 1 ½ lengths. Way behind third was Sweet Surprise.
