KINGSTON, Jamaica – The trend of horses going to the front on a wet track came to the fore again, this time it was Take Two in the Caymanas Saturday sixth.

Jockey Dane Dawkins rushed Take Two trained by Welsh Soutar from the outside draw to tackle Daytona Belle (Anthony Thomas) in the four-year-old and upwards (non-winners of two) event going six furlongs and for a brief moment the two were locked together.

Dawkins then assumed the lead with 3 ½ furlongs to go and that was that. Take Two won by 9 ½ lengths.

Second went to Sniper Man (Roger Hewitt) with Daytona Belle third.
