KINGSTON, Jamaica - Three of the eleven races on Saturday, October 29, 2022, at Caymanas Park are confined to three-year-olds.
The first of these races is number seven, Division One of a maiden contest going a mile with nine horses entered.
The assessment of the nine starters is offered below in post-position order.
1 – REAL BIGMAN is a grey colt by Berlino Di Tiger out of My Morning Prayer trained by Rowan Mathie with Dick Cardenas aboard. Racing for the second occasion (12 days) after finishing third (6 ½ lengths) behind Ultimate Machine and Storm A Come. Real Bigman having gathered the experience should be better off but stepping up from five furlongs round to a mile is too much.
2 – BLUE PERSUASION is a chestnut filly (April 11) by Takeover Target out of Big Towner trained by Michael Marlowe with Javaniel Patterson aboard. Not ready. Note, Blue Persuasion races with the tongue tie on and first Lasix.
3 – EMPRESS NAKELIA is a chestnut filly (February 28) by Deputy Glitters out of Aguila trained by Robert Ffrench with Rudolph Paige aboard. Note, Empress Nakelia races with the tongue tie on and first-time Lasix. Learning her trade.
4 – NEVER ON A SUNDAY is a bay filly (April 20) by Midnight Hawk out of Kenzie’s Charm trained by Maurice Crooks with Shane Richardson in the saddle. Never On A Sunday has already shown she is of some worth after finishing second (21 days) at 6 ½ furlongs. The distance of a mile on Saturday is about perfect for Never On A Sunday with a winning run not beyond her.
5 – ANCHORMAN is a bay colt (February 27) by Soul Warrior out of Bitter End trained by Anthony Nunes with Tevin Foster aboard. A model of consistency in his eight starts to date, Anchorman gathered enough know-how to get off the mark. Note, Anchorman races with the visor off.
6 – FOUR FIVER is a bay filly (February 12) by Nasheet out of Miss Moss trained by David Lee Sin with Roger Hewitt holding the reins.
7 – ASURETY is a chestnut gelding (March 9) by Perfect Curlin out of Sure To Come trained by Edward Stanberry with Robert Halledeen aboard. Even with the upgrade in the rider, Asurety will not win.
8 – TIGRAY EXPRESS is a bay colt (April 23) by Traditional out of Kiri trained by Patrick Lynch with Anthony Allen aboard. The best hope is a place on the board. Note Tigray Express races with the blinkers off.
9 – SOLID TRUTH is an imported in-utero chestnut colt (April 21) by Danza out of Truly Trudy trained by Gary Crawford with Andre Powell aboard. Has a long way to go.
the cash pot super dash coming up with blue vinyl set to compete over 1000 meters seems like the connections is looking for a pipe opener for this horse, definetly too short for his type of running, i think its getting him race ready for the mile and sixteenth JAMAICA CUP.

Yes, do believe it is indeed a pipe opener
