KINGSTON, Jamaica – Synchronize recorded her third lifetime victory in the Caymanas Saturday first to give trainer Dale Murphy his first winner in quite a while.

Racing at odds of 5-2, in a five-year-old and upwards claimer (180,000 - $150,000), Synchronize (Dick Cardenas) was kept off the pace set by Smashing One (Daniel Thompson) and Dare To Speak (Matthew Bennett) coming from the outside draw.

After three furlongs were completed Dare To Speak went further in front to take the field into the lane for the final two furlongs.

Synchronize challenged while on the inside rails as Jamaican Storm (Anthony Thomas) tried his best on the outside.

It was touch and go in the final furlong as Dare To Speak was not giving up but Synchronize found a bit more to earn the win by 1 ¼ lengths.

Dare To Speak was second and Twilight Storm third.
