KINGSTON, Jamaica – It took a while but after due consideration following an inquiry and a jockey’s objection the stewards ruled that the results of the Caymanas Monday fourth stand with Sweet N Smart (first); Sniper Man (second) and D’s Choice (third).

The win by the imported Sweet N Smart trained by St Leger winning trainer Gary Subratie and ridden by Dane Dawkins was accomplished in a four-year-old and upwards (non-winners of two) and for maiden imported maiden horses at five furlongs round.

D’s Choice (Jordan Barrett), Danny Spud (Milton Powell) and Sniper Man (Chris Mamdeen replacing Dane Nelson) vied for the advantage on the front end with Sweet N Smart waiting patiently behind.

The first to move decisively was Sniper Man who took over close the home turn.

Sweet N Smart making use of the rails under a strong hand ride from Dawkins challenged and after a sharp duel, it was Sweet N Smart by a short head over Sniper Man. D’s Choice was third.
