The Alexander Hamilton Memorial Trophy is the feature on the 10-race card of Saturday, March 14, 2026.
The Alex Hamilton is for three-year-olds and up horses at the Open Allowance level going seven furlongs.
Five horses are entered to compete with The Quick Galloper’s assessment done in post-position order published below.
1 – PROVIDENT
Outclassed at this level. Provident serves as a filler in this field.
2 – SUPERNATURAL POWER (USA)
Talented filly making her seasonal debut after finishing fourth in the December 2025 Mouttet Mile behind Rideallday, Legacy Isle, and Funcaandun. Seven furlongs is her ideal trip, and she has trained well for this return. With visor, figure eight off, and the blinkers on, she is expected to break sharper, which is the only negative. Versatile enough to lead or stalk, she has the class to strike decisively.
3 – FUNCAANDUN (USA)
Also making his first start of 2026. Found the early fractions too hot in the Mouttet Mile but now faces a more suitable pace scenario. Can race closer to the leaders before unleashing his strong finishing kick. Consistent competitor who should be in the mix.
4 – ZULU WARRIOR
Local-bred runner who has done well to reach this grade. Faces two formidable rivals here, and a minor placing looks the best realistic outcome. Third place is within reach.
5 – WALL STREET TRADER (USA)
Scored a win 24 days ago in the grade below. Proven against top company with victories over Legacy Isle and Pack Plays. Brings experience and grit, making him a legitimate contender who cannot be overlooked.
