KINGSTON, Jamaica – It was as tight as can be in the Alex Hamilton Trophy event over a mile, as Superluminal under strong handling by jockey Omar Walker was just able to hold on by a short-head to win the event at Caymanas Park minutes ago over a surging Saratoga Sight on the rails.
The winning time for a mile was 1:38.3. Hover Craft was third.
Superluminal trained by Ian Parsard went off at odds of 8-5.
The 4-5 on favourite Another Vigorous finished last.
