KINGSTON, Jamaica - Nine horses will be loaded in the starting barriers in the first Sunday (July 10, 2022) offering, which is a three-year-old and upwards Restricted Overnight Allowance call going 5 ½ furlongs (1,100m).
Below is THE QUICK GALLOPER’S analysis of each of the nine runners runner.
1 - RAW LIQUID: (6 b h by Liquidity – Good Investment) – Has been holding his form well at this level with some surprising efforts. Raw Liquid should be competitive throughout but 5 ½ furlongs is going to be too short for him to be at his best.
2 - VERSATILE VISION: (5 b f Fearless Vision – Chintaggoodaz) – Is going to find this trip too quick and should be left behind.
3 - AZARIA: (7 b m by Performing Magic – Milestone) – Has reached Overnight Allowance and has to learn first.
4 - ACERO: (4 ch c by Lion Tamer – Electrifying) – Out of the frame among claimers in his last outing, Acero is stepping up without much form, and has no chance of hitting the board.
5 - SHE’S MY DESTINY: (4 ch f by Bern Identity – Woman Is Boss) – Returns to competitive racing from a 130-day-break following her fourth-place finish in the Ash Wednesday Trophy on March 2. She’s My Destiny returns well-trained and with the field holding few terrors, can put these away.
6 - ALEXA’S LODGE: (5 ch m by Blue Pepsi Lodge – Alexa’s Song) – Did not finish in her race on June 5 over the straight course but Alexa’s Lodge has been timely prepared for her re-entry and could return on a winning note.
7 - BIG BIG DADDY: (5 dkb h by Natural Selection – Just A Flutter) – Showed little in his five starts this season. Nothing is expected to change.
8 - THE GOOD WITCH (USA): (5 b m by Tale Of The Cat – Witch Craft) – Showed signs of ability when finishing 3 ½ lengths third to Lure of Lucy and Rojorn di Pilot last Saturday. With that encouraging run and her well-being exposed, The Good Witch is poised for an even better effort.
9 - HEIROFFIRE: (6 b m by Storm Craft – Thisgirlisonfire) _ Has no form to recommend.
