KINGSTON, Jamaica – It was promised, and She’s My Destiny duly fulfilled that promise by strolling to victory in the Caymanas (Sunday, July 10, 2022) first.
The Caymanas Sunday first was a three-year-old and upwards Overnight Allowance call going 5 ½ furlongs.
Jockey Anthony Thomas atop She’s My Destiny had to unduly push the filly forward as they were not the best away when the gates opened. She’s My Destiny coupled quickly and by the time the field of nine completed half-a-furlong, she went to the lead and that was that for the eight others in the contest.
In the straight, Thomas simply had to keep up the Jason DaCosta trainee to her work which he did without any fuss, winning by 8 ½ furlongs in a final clocking of 1:06.0.
