KINGSTON, Jamaica – Another three-year-old maiden contest is on offer on the 10-race card on Saturday, January 28, 2023, at Caymanas Park.

Eight are are entered to do battle over a mile in the third race on the day.

The Quick Galloper’s early analysis of the eight entered is provided below.

1 – WAYNE’S PRINCESS is a bay filly (May 19) by Northern Giant out of Patara trained by Jason DaCosta with Reyan Lewis aboard. Getting better but not ready as yet.

2 – NOISY LADY is a bay filly (May 10) by Savoy Stomp out of Raise Your Voice trained by Keffin Murray with Ramon Nepare aboard. Has not raced in a while and is now coming from a new barn. Showed some promise early but has tapered off. Needs time. Note, Noisy Lady races with the tongue tie off.

3 – LOYAL ACTION is a bay colt (February 22) by Western Warrior out of Fast Action trained by Gary Crawford with Omar Walker aboard. Coming along, not ready as yet. Note, Loyal Action races with the blinkers off and with first-time Lasix.

4 – MISS MAMAS is a bay filly (April 6) by Conquest Cherimash out of Cup O Tea trained by Steven Todd with Richard Byrd in the saddle. Nothing of worth in ten starts.

5 – PRINCESS TALISE is a bay filly (April 17) by Savoy Stomp out of Dancing Queen trained by Lawrence Freemantle with Javaniel Patterson in the saddle. Slowly getting her gig together with a possible place on the board in the offing.

6 – BIG GUY IN THESKY is a bay colt (March 12) by Natural Selection out of Granville Greta trained by Gary Subratie with Dane Dawkins aboard. Just failed in his last bid 21 days ago at seven furlongs running on. A mile is perfect for Big Guy In TheSky, he has enough experience and with confidence emanating from his stables, a winning effort is expected.

7 – RHYTHM BUZZ is a bay colt (April 22) by Buzz Nightmare out of River Rhythm trained by Vincent Atkinson. His first two runs, second behind She’s My Hedge Fund, and second behind Anonymous, then found foreigners hard to cope with when next at the track. Has progressed in the mornings, giving him a good chance of filling the exacta spot.

8 – MODERN MIRACLE is a chestnut colt (January 2) by Hedge Fund out of Sound of Miracle trained by Anthony Nunes with Tevin Foster aboard. Has hit the board in his four efforts to date. Will have to deal with both Rhythm Buzz and Big Guy In TheSky who were both in front of Modern Miracle when they last met. Can win but will have to show enough progress to do so. Note, Modern Miracle races with the visor off and the Figure 8 on.
