KINGSTON, Jamaica - Stranger Danger, a former Grade One campaigner, appears to have found his stride among claimers after winning his second consecutive race in a three-year-old and upwards claiming ($750,000-$600,000) spread travelling five furlongs straight.
Stranger Danger, trained by Fitzgerald Richards and ridden by champion Dane Dawkins, showed good speed at the off and disputed the lead with Giant Wheeler (Omar Walker) and Milkman (Tevin Foster) in the early exchanges.
Coming across the dumpy rails, Stranger Danger began to draw away from rivals and romped home to score by 6 ¾ lengths at the line in a time of 1:00.4. Finishing second was Denbigh Life (Anthony Thomas), and finishing third was Giant Wheeler.
Stranger Danger was as to be expected claimed for $750,000.
