KINGSTON, Jamaica - The race will feature nine horses, and below is the analysis of each horse by The Quick Galloper.
1 - SOCIAL MISCHIEF is a bay filly born on February 8, sired by Midnight Hawk out of Morning Glory. She is trained by Robert Pearson, and Kerry-Gayl Robinson will be the jockey. Social Mischief is a newcomer to competitive racing and is still learning.
2 - KENCIA is a chestnut filly born on April 29, sired by Sunshine N Shadow out of Hija De Reina. She is trained by Steven Todd, and Tevin Foster will be the jockey. Kencia has raced three times and has shown some speed before backing out. With the experience gained, she has a chance of hitting the board for the exotic wagers.
3 - ROSETTA is a roan filly born on April 6, sired by Bold Conquest out of Khadiliah. She is trained by Jason DaCosta, and Robert Halledeen will be the jockey. Rosetta is the most raced of the field, with eight times under her belt. She has finished second in her last three outings, and now racing with the visor off and the blinkers on, she will be around when the finishing line arrives.
4 - ROMAN PRINCESS is a chestnut filly born on April 1, sired by Soul Warrior out of Lovely Day. She is trained by Saqlain Roman, and Oneil Mullings will be the jockey. Roman Princess has been consistent in most of her five starts to date and has a chance of hitting the board.
5- SOLACE is a chestnut filly born on May 5, sired by Hedge Fund out of I Have A Dream. She is trained by Barrington Bernard, and Youville Pinnock will be the jockey. This will be Solace's first-time start, and she will benefit from the run.
6- AWESOME LINE is a bay filly born on May 13, sired by Midnight Hawk out of South. She is trained by Lorenzo Robinson, and Reyan Lewis will be the jockey. Awesome Line has not shown any encouragement in her two starts so far in her career. Note that she races with the blinkers off.
7- HAVAJOY is a chestnut filly born on April 21, sired by Legal Process out of Lady Taraki. She is trained by Donovan Thompson, and Roger Hewitt will be the jockey. Note that Havajoy races with first-time Lasix and needs much more time.
8- DI MIRACLE ANGEL is a chestnut filly born on January 4, sired by Berlino Di Tiger out of My Angel. She is trained by Robert Pearson, and Abigail Able will be the jockey. Note that Di Miracle Angel races with first-time Lasix. This filly is still learning.
9- IMMEASURABLE JOY is an imported in-utero bay filly born on April 23, sired by War Correspondent out of Moon Over Mallorca. She is trained by Anthony Nunes, and Raddesh Roman will be the jockey. Immeasurable Joy was hindered in her last start on April 14, then found herself finishing a commendable third, 2 ¾ lengths adrift of Dancing Aviator and She Dallas Love. Now drawn on the outside with the prolific Raddesh Roman doing duties, Immeasurable Joy is well poised to produce a winning run.
