1 – There are three fillies in the St Leger, favourite Atomica, Sunset Silhoutte, and Outbidder. The latter two are trained by Jason DaCosta.
2 – Of the other 10 entrants in the St Leger, five are geldings and five colts. The five geldings are Rainsville, Slam, Emperorofthecats, Berning Red and Brinks. The colts are Power, Blue Vinyl, Roraima, Morimoto, and D Head Cornerstone.
3 – Of the lot of 13 in the St Leger only one, Rainsville is a grey.
4 – Of the 13 jockeys to mount up in the St Leger, four are past winners, Omar Walker, Shane Ellis, Dick Cardenas, and Linton Steadman.
5 – Of the trainers in the St Leger four are past winners, Gary Subratie, Philip Feanny, Anthony Nunes and Richard Azan.
6 – The leading stallion in the 2022 Jamaica St Leger is Bern Identity who has sired five of the 13 participants; Brinks, Berning Red, Roraima, D Head Cornerstone, and Blue Vinyl.
7 – There is one bred in utero horse in the St Leger. Power is a bred in utero chestnut colt by Bal A Bali out of Swift Fox.
