KINGSTON, Jamaica – Slam Dunk earned his first win after several attempts, when after finishing second 5 ¼ lengths behind first by the post Mr Senator, the stewards of the race meet intervened to disqualify Mr Senator.
The event was a three-year-old maiden contest going nine furlongs and 25 yards.
Slam Dunk is trained by Gary Subratie with Dane Dawkins in the saddle.
