KINGSTON, Jamaica – Trainer Alford Brown claimed Daddy Jones, winner of the second race, for owner Suzette Williams for $1 million from Steven Todd.
In the fourth race, Jason DaCosta claimed Sudden Flight for owner Colshar Limited for $550,000 from Colin Ferguson, while Ferguson claimed Jon P for owner Mark Perry for also $550,000 from Johnny Wilmot.
In the fifth race, Bernard Vincent claimed winner Stanislaus for owner G-Links Connection from Steven Todd, Byron Davis claimed Baltusrol for owner Clive Robinson from Marlon Anderson, and Fitzgerald Richards claimed Clolour Me Tan for owner Stanley Lindsay from Davis. All claims in the fifth event went for $250,000 each.
