KINGSTON, Jamaica – Getting the perfect run on the inside rails entering the stretch drive, jockey Shane Ellis returned from a break as a winner on 4-5 chance Milkman in the final race of nine on the Caymanas Saturday programme.
Ellis as is the norm was calm and collected, biding his time as Celebration (Dick Cardenas) and Nuclear Emma vied with each other for the ascendency.
Milkman lurked behind the leaders but with three furlongs left to race came closer to the leaders and when the rail run opened, Ellis got to work and Milkman delivered the victory for trainer Dennis Pryce.
Celebration was second and Nuclear Emma third.
