KINGSTON, Jamaica – Things got off to a favourite start in the first race at Caymanas Park a short while ago on the Governor’s Cup programme with Mistrial ridden by Shane Ellis turning the event into a romp at odds of 1-5.
Trained and owned by Donovan Plummer, Mistrial hit the front from the start and was never in danger of losing. Second at 10-1 went to Cody’s Dream with Dr Sahir Alexander third at odds of 24-1.
The winning margin was 6 ½ lengths.
