KINGSTON, Jamaica – Samora (Devon A Thomas) racing at odds of 5-1 continued the dominance of grey winners in the Caymanas Monday fifth. The victory by Samora followed other victorious grey horses on the day thus far, Storm Princess and Innovator.

Samora trained by Errol Subratie made good use of the outside draw in the four furlong contest in a five-year-old and upwards Optional Claimer (180,000 - $150,000) by immediately showing on the headlines.

Zi Beast (Abigail Able) challenged for a while but after Thomas carried Samora to the middle of track it was over and done with for the rest of the 15 runners.

Timetosaygoodbye (Roger Hewitt) ran on for second with Zi Beast third.
