SAMANTHA FLETCHER, JEROME INNIS FALL FROM THEIR MOUNTS

Acero makes it #2 for Dennis Pryce, Dane Nelson

KINGSTON, Jamaica – The triple combination of jockey Dane Nelson, trainer Dennis Pryce, and owner Busy Racing Stables are on a high after Acero provided them with their second win on the Ash Wednesday racing card moments ago at  Caymanas Park. The trio earlier won with Uncle Vinnie.

Acero was in a no nonsense mood as Nelson quickly put him in the lead and was never headed in this four-year-old and upwards (non-winners-of four) contest going five furlongs round, which was the Ash Wednesday fourth.

Den Street (Anthony Thomas) was second and Sweet Majesty (Paul Francis) third.

While the field of seven runners were navigating the bend, jockeys Samantha Fletcher on Magical Mood, and Jerome Innis on Sudden Flight both fell from their mounts. Both jockeys will not be riding for the rest of the meet.
