KINGSTON, Jamaica – It got worst for most punters as after It Is Now at 18-1 in the sixth event it was then time for Bloodsweatandtears at 21-1 in the Caymanas Saturday seventh.
Samantha Fletcher aboard the Gresford ‘Greasie’ Smith trained Bloodsweatandtears kept her mount at the back of the field - way off the pace.
On the front end it was a duel between Raw Liquid (Roger Hewitt) and Blind Faith (Dane Dawkins).
That duel continued in the straight with the lead switching several times until Miss Fletcher got Bloodsweatandtears going on the wide outside inside the final furlong.
Then in a jiffy, Bloodsweatandtears flew by Raw Liquid and Blind Faith winning by 1 ¼ lengths.
Raw Liquid was second and Blind Faith third.
