KINGSTON, Jamaica – The eighth race on Saturday, June 17, 2023, is for three-year-olds and upwards horses operating in the Open Allowance bracket.
Six are entered to compete at a distance of seven furlongs.
The Quick Galloper’s assessment of this event is provided below.
1 – MONEY MONSTER is slowly coming to grips with this class; will find it difficult against these.
2 – LABAN is simply not ready to take on this group.
3 – DUKE has proven himself over all distances, plus he is the Mr Consistent of this lot. Duke has attended all the parties in recent times, earning along the way for his connections. Seven furlongs is about right for Duke, who will once again hit the board. Note, Duke, races with the visor off, and the blinkers on.
4 – EXCESSIVE FORCE makes a return having last raced on December 31, 2022. This foreigner is known to perform well after a break and is expected to continue that trend. Might, however, need the run to perform at his very best.
5 – SISTREN TREASURE is slowly but surely finding her way in this grouping. She will get there with time.
6 – RUNAWAY ALGO gets a pull in the weights, moving from 57.0 kgs to 53.5 kgs. The distance of seven furlongs is perfect for Runaway Algo, plus he can be considered to be the main speed in this contest and will have to be caught.

One of the best horses in Jamaica at this moment but this trainer is going to run him to the ground before the mottete mile in December comes around why have this horse running 19 furlongs over a one month period is beyond my thinking would love to see Jason dacosta train this one 😂😂😂😂
