KINGSTON, Jamaica – Adonis under the guidance of apprentice Reyan Lewis after watching for the first three furlongs accelerated convincingly in the final two to easily take the second event on the massive 12-race Saturday card at The Park.

Racing in a $750,000 - $700,000 claimer coming down the five straight course, Adonis simply demonstrated his superior class winning by 4 ½ lengths when the winning post intervened.

The win gave Lewis his 60th victory for the year and it was number 62 for leading trainer Anthony Nunes.

Second was Five Star (Linton Steadman 8-1) with third going to Dee Danger (Shamaree Muir 2-1).

The winning time posted by Adnois was a fast 59.0 second on a track listed as fast.
