KINGSTON, Jamaica – After a long delay to the first race on the 10-race Saturday programme at Caymanas Park occasioned by technical glitches, Miss Formality got the ball rolling with an eye catching win.

Having been out of the frame in her last two outings, Miss Formality (Traditional – Jamaican Dream) ridden by Omar Walker and trained by Wayne DaCosta mended well after a poor start to win the 6 ½ furlongs Optional Claiming ($750,000 - $700,000) for three-year-olds and upwards by 2 ¼ lengths going away.

Walker after coming out of the two draw did not rush Miss Formality as Capturemyship (Jerome Ennis) and Eye Candy vied for the lead.

The latter two both when wide at the top of lane opening the inside portion of the track for Miss Formality who quickly took over the lead and was never challenged all the way to the winning post.

Eye Candy got second with Capturemyship third.

Miss Formality won at even money and recorded a good time of 1:19.0.
