KINGSTON, Jamaica – Rarely used jockey Richard Reid earned his first winner in a long, long while when he guided home the Anthony Nunes trained Badgyalriri in the Caymanas Saturday fourth.
Badgyalriri a bay filly by Sensational Slam – Save More was well away when the starter pressed the button to signal the start of this quick straight sprint.
Racing just off the outside rails Reid kept Badgyalriri among the leaders but had to did deep to keep the 6-5 favourite Diamond In The Sky (Samantha Fletcher) at bay.
Reid got the job done over Diamond In the Sky by three parts of a lengths with Curlin’s Flight third.
