ROMAN RADDESH2

KINGSTON, Jamaica – After a long break (approximately six months) due to an injury, jockey Raddesh Roman returned to the winners’ enclosure but only just atop the Richard Phillipps trained Faulyna Forever in the Caymanas Saturday fourth.

Faulyna Forever’s success was achieved in a five-year-old and upwards (non-winners of two) contest travelling four furlongs (900 metres).

From the off this race developed into a duel between Faulyna Forever and Money Marshall (Devon A Thomas). The other six contestants were all labouring behind.

Racing for the most part in the middle of the race track, Faulyna Forever had a slight advantage most of the way. Thomas brought Money Marshall for a final surge in the final half a furlong but Roman pumping hard held on by a nose. Third was Golden Emperor (Roger Hewitt).
