KINGSTON, Jamaica – Trainer Patrick Lynch and jockey Dane Dawkins opened their winning accounts with Queen T in the Caymanas Saturday (August 28, 2021) first, which was a three-year-old maiden contest going 5 ½ furlongs.

From the eleven (11) runners facing the starter it was Traditional Boy (Tevin Foster) who assumed the lead when the gates opened closely followed by Queen T and Nakamura (Anthony Thomas).

Traditional Boy galloping resolutely took the field into the home stretch with Queen T gaining momentum on the outside.

After a brief battle Queen T took over while Traditional Boy faded as Nakamura and Conundrum (Linton Steadman) ran on for second and third respectively.

After a stewards’ inquiry, the colours of Nakamura were taken down from second. The final placings were therefore first Queen T; second Conundrum, third Bigmanbiden and fourth Nakamura
