KINGSTON, Jamaica - On Saturday, February 15, 2025, Propellant, a five-year-old bay gelding sired by the esteemed American stallion Into Mischief, dominated his seven rivals in the first of ten races.
Trained by Gary Subratie, Propellant started from the outside in the eight-horse field and quickly took the lead with jockey Shane Ellis at the reins.
Once in front, it became clear that the competition was mainly for second place. Captain Philip secured the runner-up position while Superio finished third.
This marked Propellant’s third career victory.
