KINGSTON, Jamaica – Jockey Oneil Scott, absent from the saddle for a while now, made full use of his first ride in 2023, to bring home Prissie for trainer Al Brown.
Scott waited patiently behind the leaders, and with 4 furlongs to go, pushed Prissie into the lead and then just had to make sure that he stayed alert, as Prissie went further and further away from her 12 rivals.
Prissie won the Caymanas, Monday, May 22, 2023, sixth, a Maiden Condition race for four-year=old and upwards horses going 7 ½ furlongs.
