KINGSTON, Jamaica – After morning line favourite Balazo non-started, it was easy sailing for Prince Sammo and Omar Walker in the first race of 11 on the Saturday card at Caymanas Park.
Prince Sammo trained by Colin Ferguson went straight to the lead in the Optional Claimer ($250,000 - $200,000) run over five furlongs round.
Although pressed for the first three furlongs by Kimberly Gold, Prince Sammo and Walker were simply unbeatable.
The Nextbigting (Jordan Barrett 6/1) ran on for second with Poker Star (Jerome Innis 6-1) occupying the third slot.
