KINGSTON, Jamaica – Running for the most part in the middle of the track coming down the five straight course, Primal Fear ridden by Oshane Nugent held on strongly to notch another victory in the Caymanas Wednesday fourth.
Primal Fear trained by Alford Brown was successful in a four-year-old and upwards (non-winners of four) call.
From the gates opened Primal Fear was prominent and established a clear advantage when the horses had two furlongs left in the contest.
Dick Cardenas on Silent Seeker challenged relentlessly but Primal Fear was not giving up.
Silent Seeker was second and K D Rocket (Dane Dawkins) third.
This was the second win in succession for Primal Fear.
