KINGSTON, Jamaica – The 2023 Port Royal Sprint, a Graded | Open Allowance spanning six furlongs is one of the highlights on the Jamaica Day card set for Saturday, November 11, 2023, at Caymanas Park.

1 - Three foreign horses are set to participate in the 2023 Port Royal Sprint: Madelyn's Sunshine trained by Jason DaCosta, Is That A Fact trained by Jason DaCosta, I Am Fred trained by Jason DaCosta, and I've Got Magic trained by Philip Feanny. Note, Freedom Street trained by Patrick Lynch was imported in utero.
2 - The oldest horses in the Port Royal are God of Love, Duke, and Rojorn Di Pilot, all aged seven years.
3 - The youngest horses starting in the Port Royal include Ability trained by Patrick Lynch, Is That A Fact trained by Jason DaCosta, and Mamma Mia trained by Jason DaCosta.
4 - Two Derby winners will compete in the Port Royal: King Arthur trained by Jason DaCosta and Ability trained by Patrick Lynch.
