KINGSTON, Jamaica - KINGSTON, Jamaica - The seventh race on Thursday, August 1, will feature the Grade Two - Overnight Allowance, known as the Betting Gaming and Lotteries Commission Trophy, over a distance of 5 ½ furlongs.

Six horses are entered in this anticipated contest, and below is an assessment of their chances from The Quick Galloper:

1 - WALL STREET TRADER: This horse seems to be a dedicated sprinter and is likely to perform well in this trophy event. With a race record of two wins from five starts at distances ranging from six to seven and a half furlongs, the reduced distance of this event should suit the horse well. With good recent workouts, Wall Street Trader appears to be in top form for this race.

2 - LIFE IS LIFE: Not expected to be competitive in this race.

3 - JOY IS GOLDEN: Still acclimating to this grade and may need more time to mature.

4 - INSPIRE FORCE: Still adjusting to the competition in this class and will be wearing a visor during the race.

5 - A GIFT FROM BEN: Will be racing with blinkers. If this mare can replicate her performance when finishing second behind Desert Of Malibu on April 13, she may have a chance to win the trophy.

6 - JAGUAR: Considered to be outmatched in this race.
