Clocks smart 59.2 seconds for five furlongs straight

KINGSTON, Jamaica – Peaky Blinders by Mshawish out of Visionary Wonder made a cracking career debut entrance in the Caymanas Saturday seventh, which was a contest for three-year-old maidens racing down the five straight chute.
This event was hampered by the late scratch of the then odds on favourite Morimoto and also Babylon Will Fall, leaving six runners to contest this offering.
Peaky Blinders racing from the number one starting stall was not the best away but jockey Phillip Parchment quickly moved the Steven Todd trainee from the inside to about the middle of the race track where he saw Bugatti (Tevin Foster) setting the splits, with the rest of the pack racing way behind these two.
Peaky Blinders still running green started to challenge Bugatti just before they reached the race track proper.
After a brief battle, Peaky Blinders, now moving towards the inside portion of the track started to draw away winning impressively by 3 ¼ lengths in a noticeable clocking of 59.2 seconds. The recorded splits were 22.4 x 45.4 seconds.
Bugatti finished second with Prince Sanjay (Dane Nelson) third.
