KINGSTON, Jamaica - Panamanian jockey debuts his race riding on Saturday, August 17, 2024.

Sanchez mounts up for the first occasion on the Jason DaCosta trained Rosetta in the second of ten races on the day.

He follows up in the fifth atop the Collin Ferguson conditioned Dimetry P, and closes his three rides on D Bay Machine in the seventh also trained by DaCosta.

When Quickgallopja.com visited the track during the exercise period on Wednesday, August 14, Sanchez was present working several horses.

One trainer who Sanchez is not riding for on Saturday commented: “He is a lightweight jockey coming in at about 105 lbs. Sanchez looks compact in the saddle and, he seems to know what he is doing. We have to wait and see how he performs on race day.”
