KINGSTON, Jamaica – Trainer Steven Todd walked away with the honours after the running of the Caymanas Saturday eighth.
Todd saddled the first two by the post winner Miss Hillington (Anthony Thomas) and Boasy N Flashy (Dick Cardenas) second.
The Caymanas Saturday eighth was a four-year-old and upwards non winners of two engagement over a distance of five furlongs round.
Boasy N Flashy shot into the lead from the outside draw setting splits of 24.0 x 48.2, while being followed by stablemate Miss Hillington in third.
In stretch drive of this short sprint, Boasy N Flashy was not giving up as Miss Hillington came with her run. Jockey Thomas really got down on Miss Hillington who pushed her head in front just before the winning post.
This was Thomas’ second winner on the day.
