KINGSTON, Jamaica – Jockey Omar Walker making use of some serious bumping and boring among the leading three horses to guide Queen’s Highway on a clear path to win the eighth of 11 races on the Saturday card at Caymanas Park at odds of 10-1. This is the longest odds winner thus far on the programme.

Queen’s Highway trained by Prince McDonald, came from well off the pace in the five straight contest for horses at the $450,000 - $400,000 level to land a telling blow in the final furlong winning in the end by 1 ¼ lengths.

Second went to Radical (Anthony Allen – 3-1) with third the spot occupied by Adoring Lady (Christopher Mamdeen – 1-1).

During the final half-a-furlong, jockey Shane Ellis fell from his mount Five Star. The former champion jockey was, however, able to get up from the track quickly.
