KINGSTON, Jamaica – Ten-year-old bay gelding Hover Craft wracked-up another victory this time in a claimer ($850,000 - $800,000) run over nine furlongs and 25 yards.
This latest win by Hover Craft came in the first of nine races on the Caymanas Park, Saturday (Oct 24) programme of nine races.
The Wayne DaCosta trainee, ridden by Phillip Parchment had little to do as after tracking the leaders, Hover Craft took over in the straight and won by eight lengths.
Blood Song at odds of 99-1 was second with Dada’s Nala third.
He winning time was 1:56.4.
This was Hover Craft’s 18th victory from 119 starts and the gelding now has career earnings of over $18 million.
Hover Craft was claimed for $825,000.
