KINGSTON, Jamaica – The Sunday race programme of July 17, off to predictable start with 2-5 favourite Okahumpka duly obliging.
Jockey Dane Dawkins had very little to do, as Okahumpka, who went to lead from the nine draw and was never challenged throughout the 3 ½ furlongs of the Sunday opener, a $180,000 - $150,000 claiming contest.
Okahumpka was 2 lengths ahead of second place Schlesinger (Dane Dawkins), with Rockdale (Sadiki Blake) third.
