KINGSTON, Jamaica – Trainer Anthony Nunes moved a step closer to winning his first championship when God of Love a recent acquisition won the first of 10 races on today’s (December 14) race card at Caymanas Park.
God of Love ridden by the bang in form Dane Nelson went straight to the lead when the gates opened and thereafter it was not a contest as there were no challengers in the $1,000,000 - $850,000 claiming event run over 5 ½ furlongs.
Second was K D Flyer (Dane Dawkins – 5-2) with third going to Campesino (Chris Mamdeen -5-2).
The winning time was 1:04.4 on what seems to be a fast track.
