KINGSTON, Jamaica – Installed as the prohibitive 1-5 favourite, Doom Patrol romped the second race on the Sunday (August 16) programme currently in progress at Caymanas Park.
Racing down the five straight course in an Optional Claimer ($650,000 - $600,000), Doom Patrol coming from the one draw with Aaron Chatrie in the saddle tacked across easily to the middle of the track and then it was game on as Doom Patrol skittered away from rivals winning by over eight lengths.
Luminous Power (Samantha Fletcher) was second and Congrats Suckie third.
Doom Patrol is trained by Spencer Chung.
The win by Doom Patrol follows the upset in the first by Supreme Authority at odds of 11-1.
