KINGSTON, Jamaica – Nuclear Noon (Robert Halledeen) completed his three-year-old conditions and has now reached the Overnight Allowance grouping following victory in the Caymanas Sunday eighth.

The fourth career win by Nuclear Noon was achieved in a three and four year-old call |non-winners of four races | at a distance of six furlongs.

The race lost some of its lustre when the 1-2 favourite Billy Whizz (Dick Cardenas) reared at the start and with that action dissipated all of his chances of winning.

Regnant (Paul Francis) coming off  long rest (176 days) assumed the lead tracked by the Anthony Nunes conditioned Nuclear Noon. Regnant held the advantage until the leaders made the turn for home as then Nuclear Noon took over and was not challenged thereafter winning by 2 3/4 lengths . The winning time was 1:12.4.

Regnant finished second and Billy Whizz third.
