KINGSTON, Jamaica – The rich vein of form currently sweeping the barn of trainer Patrick “Wacky” Lynch went up a notch as the conditioner along with jockey Aaron Chatrie brought Msmyrtlerichiegirl to take the fifth race on the Saturday (Nov 30) programme at Caymanas Park a short while ago.
Msmyrtlerichiegirl won a Restricted Allowance event for four-year-olds and upwards run over 6 ½ furlongs.
The lead was assumed by Band of Gold (Javaniel Patterson – 24-1) but he was soon gobbled-up by Harry’ Train (Omar Walker – 9-5) leaving the half-mile pole with Msmyrtlerichiegirl and Chatrie lurking in mid pack.
Harry’s Train faltered in the lane as Msmyrtlerichiegirl really got going after being sent off at odds of 5-2.
Harry’ Train held for second with Nuclear Dan Dada (Daniel Satchell – 26-1) third.
Msmyrtlerichiegirl recorded a time of 1:19.0 to give his trainer win number 37 in this season.
