Anthony Nunes leads by approximately $1.1 million
KINGSTON, Jamaica – Dropping several notches down the claiming ladder, Mr Ambassador duly obliged in the Caymanas Monday seventh to give his trainer Jason DaCosta his first winner on the day.
This win by Mr Ambassador brought the lead held by Anthony Nunes in the trainers’ race to $1,119,155 over DaCosta with four races to go in the year.
Racing in a three-year-old and upwards claimer ($250,000 -$200,000) going five furlongs straight, Mr Ambassador had Phillip Parchment (chance ride) in the saddle.
It was easy as one-two-three for Mr Ambassador from the gates opened. Thereafter it was a case of pulling further and further to win by 10 lengths.
Second went to Sly Stalloon (Everton Miller) and third Blu Attitude (Dane Dawkins).
