KINGSTON, Jamaica – Long-time racing professional Fitzroy “Pumpkin” Glispie had the honour of being the owner, the breeder and the trainer of the exciting looking two-year-old bay colt, Money Monster winner of today’s eighth race at Caymanas Park.

Money Monster (Casual Trick – She’s Traditional) was an encouraging victor of the juvenile event run over five furlongs round.

At the off in the field of six after the late withdrawal of USA bred Ton a Fun, it was Native Gold (Anthony Thomas) and Task Force (Reyan Lewis) both racing for the second time that went off at a merry clip scorching 22.4 for the first two furlongs.

When they entered the straight Task Force went away but the ever stalking Money Money (Bebeto Harvey) who stuck to the inside rails all of the way got into full gear, blowing by Task Force without a fuss, with foreigner Bold Sami who was off to a bad start running on quite noticeably for second. Task Force was third.

The winning time was 1:01.1.
