KINGSTON, Jamaica - The 2024 staging of the O&S Tack Room Trophy, a Restricted Overnight Allowance contest for three-year-olds and upward, is the highlight of tomorrow’s 11-race card.
The event has been split into two divisions, with Division One featuring eight runners going a mile.
The Quick Galloper provides an in-depth analysis of the competitors vying for top honours in Division One.
1 - JOHNCROWJEFF: This veteran gelding has shown no recent form to suggest a winning performance is at hand.
2 - CHAMPION BUBBLER (USA): A late non-starter.
3 - DIGITAL ONE (USA): With two second-place finishes and two third-place efforts from four starts in 2024 at this same level. Digital One has changed stables since her last start and has now had the blinkers removed with the visor on.
4 - POWER FROM ABOVE: Capable filly who wlll relish the distance of a mile, with her workouts coming into the race suggesting that she’s ready for a capital effort. Power From Above cannot be denied a chance of winning.
5 - POWER: Will be outclassed.
6 - HEROINE: This mare faces an uphill battle to contend with the stronger rivals in this field, and a win seems highly unlikely.
7 - MONEY MISER: Although winless in two attempts at this level, Money Miser has been slowly regaining his best form. His sixth-place finish on August 3 was a mere 4 ½ lengths behind Madelyn’s Sunshine. Money Miser will find one mile to his liking, plus he has indicated at morning exercise that he is ready to give his best.
8 - BURLAP: This capable colt has the talent to run a respectable race and should not be overlooked. While not the most likely winner, Burlap should acquit himself for a place on the board.
