KINGSTON, Jamaica – Coming from well off the pace Miss In Kiss gathered steam in the final furlong-and-a-half to win the second race of nine on today’s programme at Caymanas Park.

Ridden by Omar Walker and trained by Gresford “Greasie” Smith, Miss In Kiss was not the best away in the field of seven runners competing in a Restricted Allowance 111 – five-year-olds and upwards contest – non-winners of four races run over five furlongs round.

With Classy Miss (Trevor Simpson – 4-1) and Blusie (Raddesh Roman 8-1) vying for the early lead, Walker watched from behind. The leaders took their speed dominance into the lane for the final two furlongs which was when Walker gathered Miss In Kiss, coming with a strong run on the outside to claim the win by 2 ¾ lengths. Second went to Nuclear Dan Dada (Daniel Satchell – 3-2) with Classy Miss third.

Then the stewards took down the number of Nuclear Dan Dada and placed him behind Blusie who had originally finished fifth.

This was Walker’s fourth win for 2020 and the second for Smith.
