KINGSTON, Jamaica – The nine race Wednesday (December 18) card at Caymanas Park got underway to a rollicking start a short while ago when 8-1 chance Nuclear Thunder winning at odds of 8-1.

Ridden by leading rider Christopher Mamdeen and trained by veteran Phillip Elliott, Nuclear Thunder set off in front in the $450,000 - $400,000 claiming event run over 6 ½ furlongs and was never headed at any time in the race.
