KINGSTON, Jamaica – In a driving finish coming down the five straight chute, the Robert Pearson trained Market Place got her nose in front on the line to beat 20-1 outsider Squeak.
This was the second time Market Place was winning from nine starts, and this latest victory came in four-year-old and upwards, non-winners of two call.
Note, Squeak was disqualified and placed fourth.
